Nestled in the Bukit Timah district, the brief called for a cosy home for a family with 2 young kids and elderlies. The resultant design is, as the name implies, take cues from a traditional cabin house which is known to evoke a sense of comfort and warmth.

The external façade of the house is cladded with timber, a nod to the traditional cabin house. Rustic brick walls lined the external boundary wall of the house to complement the warmth of the timbers. Internally, a huge living room greets visitors with the floors covered with large format marble tiles. A feature panelled wall at the end of the room conceals the entrance to the kitchen and powder room.
